A collection of folklore from German with morals for kids and adult. Feel free to share them.

Germany, officially the Federal Republic of Germany is a country in Central and Western Europe. Covering an area of 357,022 square kilometres (137,847 sq mi), it lies between the Baltic and North seas to the north, and the Alps to the south. It borders Denmark to the north, Poland and the Czech Republic to the east, Austria and Switzerland to the south, and France, Luxembourg, Belgium, and the Netherlands to the west.

Once upon a time, in Germany, there was a bear trapped into a hole in the forest. When he fell into a hole, his leg was broken so the bear could not go up. Fortunately there was a kind hunter who found the bear. The hunter helps the bear out of the hole. He then brought the bear to his house.

Three Women Weavers (German)
In a village, there lived a mother who lived with her daughter. The mother was annoyed with her daughter who was very lazy. She did not want to help his mother to weave cloth. One time, the mother's patience was gone. Her daughter always refuses to weave. The mother was angry to beat her daughter to scream in pain.

Once upon a time in a kingdom in the territory of France, a party was being held to welcome the birth of the king's daughter.

Little Red Riding Hood (German)
In a house on the edge of the forest, there was a little girl who lived with her father and mother. She has a grandmother who lives in the forest. The grandmother is very fond of her grandchildren. She gave his granddaughter a red coat while celebrating his 12th birthday. This is so that her grandchildren can be protected from cold weather when outside the home.
