Greedy Traders and Honest Traders (India)

In a city in India, there lived two sellers of household appliances who lived next door. One trader is a kind and honest trader, while the other trader is greedy and cunning.

At one time, greedy trader are selling their wares in a village. He passed a shack house inhabited by an old granny. A granny came out of the house and called the greedy merchant. "Sir, I don't have any equipment at home. Can I exchange this bowl to be exchanged for the tools you sell ?, This bowl is a relic of my husband, "said the granny.
Greedy merchants then watched the object. The bowl was made of gold. The grandma apparently did not know that the bowl was made of gold. Seeing this, the crafty trader said, "Granny, this bowl has no price, but if you exchange it for a pair of spoons and forks, I will". Hearing this, the granny said, "can you exchange it for more than that? this bowl is the only legacy of my husband ". "You can't, Grandma, my offer is far better than this ugly bowl," replied the cunning merchant as he left.

The old woman bowed sadly. However, not long after, a good and honest merchant passed by the old woman house. The granny then offered the bowl to the honest trader. How shocked the honest trader was when he saw a bowl of gold.

"Grandma, this bowl is very valuable, this bowl is made of gold, my entire item will not be of sufficient value to be exchanged for this precious bowl," answered the honest trader. "It's okay son, take this bowl and give me the utensils," said the granny. Finally, the honest trader gave his merchandise to be exchanged for the golden bowl. He then went to the market to sell the golden bowl.

In the afternoon, a miserly merchant came back to the granny's house, then asked again the granny's golden bowl. The granny said, "I have given the bowl to merchants who are kind and honest. He is very honest in respecting my things. Unlike you who are dishonest, greedy and cunning.

Greedy traders only regret his actions. An honest trader is now living well after he sold the gold bowl to the market.

Moral message in the story: greedy people will not get goodness, people who are honest and kind-hearted will surely get luck and kindness.
