In an area in France, there lived a wealthy merchant. The Merchant has many ships. He has 6 children. 3 men and 3 women. Their lives are full of wealth. Because their lives were fairly adequate, their children became arrogant, except the youngest daughter of the merchant. The youngest child is known to be kind, beautiful, helpful, and not arrogant.
At one time, this rich merchant went bankrupt and was poor. The ships also lost somewhere. The economic crisis in France triggers them to live in poverty.
However, their ships were finally found as well. He told his children that he was going to the harbor. All her children became cheerful.
"Father, bring us expensive souvenirs. Hopefully we will not live hard again, "said the eldest.
All asked for luxury items as souvenirs. Except the kindest youngest. She only asked for a rose.

Because he was very hungry, he ate the food until he fell asleep.
Finally he woke up in the morning. How shocked his father was because the palace was surrounded by a very beautiful flower garden. The father plucked a rose for his youngest daughter as a gift.
Apparently there is a figure who has been watching him from earlier. The figure interfered with him "Sir, I have let you eat and sleep in my house. But why do you still steal roses in my garden? "
"Who are you ?" the merchant asked, shocked to see a large, horrifying-looking figure approaching him.
"I am the owner of this palace," answered the large figure.
"Forgive my impudence. I took a rose as a souvenir for my youngest child, "said the merchant.
"If indeed for your child. Bring your child here. If you didn't bring your child, then you lied. I will kill you, "said the large figure.
Merchant finally home. He told the events that happened to his children. The youngest girl's brothers blame her sister. It was because of the request of the youngest daughter that put his father in danger. However, the youngest fulfilled the request of the large creature. She will go to that place the next day.
"This is my daughter who asked for a rose," said the merchant, anxiously.
The big figure replied, "Ok, I trust you. Now go home and bring as many items in this house as you want. But your daughter must stay with me. "
"Don't take my daughter," the father shuddered.
"I'm okay father, go home" said the youngest calmly.
The father finally reluctantly left the youngest daughter. The youngest is just sad and a little pensive.
"Do you regret what you said?" asked the large figure.
"I just want to serve my father, Sir," the youngest replied, wiping her tears.
"Oh, well then. Now you are my friend, "said the large figure.
"What's your name, Sir?" asked the youngest girl.
"Everyone calls me the The Beast. Because my face is bad, "answered the creature.
The Beast is not as scary as his face. His behavior is good. He often invites the youngest girl to dance and sing. They become good friends. The Beast is happy with the youngest girl. He praised the girl for being not only beautiful, but also kind and able to dance.
The youngest girl apparently dreamed that her father was seriously ill. The dream continues to disrupt her days. Until finally the youngest told about the dream to The Beast. The Beast One allowed the youngest to go see her father.
"You should really go there to see your father. However, you only have one week. Because if more than that, my body will lie rigid and I will die, "said the The Beast. He actually has fallen in love with the youngest girl. Kindness of the youngest has made him unable to live without the girl.
The youngest girl finally went to visit her father. Apparently her father was ill. The youngest took care of his father for several days, the father had recovered and returned to health from his illness. A week has passed. The youngest girl dreams. She saw the The Beast sickly and finally lay stiff. The youngest woke up from her sleep.
The next day, the youngest girl hurried to leave her house. She will go to the Palace of The Beast. She felt that The Beast was in danger because of pain.
Arriving at the palace. She saw that the Beast was already lying rigid. The youngest daughter is very sad. She woke up the body of The Beast by shaking his body. But The Beast doesn't react.
"Please wake up. You are so kind. I don't want to lose you, "said the youngest girl in tears. She hopes that The Beast of the Fine can be aware of the situation.
