Fish for the king is a fairy tale boy who came from the country of Iraq (Middle East).
It is said that according to the story, long ago there was an Iraqi king who liked to eat fish.
Every day the palace chef always serves fish-based food.
Palace chefs always order the best quality fish from fishermen.
It so happened that the palace of the King of Iraq was on the banks of the Tigris river.
Kings & Queens often relax in palace gardens.
Incidentally the royal palace overlooks the Tigris river.
The fishermen in the Tigris river often greet & salute their king.
One afternoon, a fisherman passed by the King's palace garden.
Seeing the King and Queen relaxing in the park, the fisherman stopped his boat.
He then faced the King with a big fish.
After paying his respects, the fisherman then gave the big fish to the king.
"Your Honor, this fish is the best servant's catch while being a fisherman. I gave this fish to His Majesty as a sign of people's love for the wise King. " said the fisherman.
The queen who accompanied the King did not like the fishermen.
She considers the fisherman only wants to get a gift from the King.
"Don't accept the fish. He only wants a gift from the King. " said the empress.
But the King does not care about his wife's opinion.
The king then receives the fish.
Next the King gave a bag of money to the fisherman.
"Wait a minute." said the empress. "I ask you. The fish you brought is male or female? " asked the empress to the fisherman.
The empress seemed to be unwilling the King to give money to the fisherman.
The fisherman then thought, if he answered a male fish, the empress would naturally say that the King did not like male fish.
Vice versa.
Finally the fisherman replied, "Sorry Your Highness the Empress, this fish is a special fish offering to the King. So, it's not male fish or female fish. "
The empress only paused to hear the smart answer of the fisherman.
The king smiled, then gave a bag of money to the fisherman.
That's the fairy tale of a fish story for the King of Iraq.
Message from the story: it would not hurt if we do good.
