The Origin of Singapore (Singapore)

There used to be a king named Nila Utama.

Raja Nila Utama has an interest in hunting animals.

He also really liked the area with beautiful natural scenery.

Raja Nila Utama hears the beauty of nature on the island of Tanjung Bentam.

The king then decided to hunt on the island of Tanjung Bentam.

The royal commander told the king, that there was a very large deer on the island of Tanjung Bentam.

"Until now no one has managed to capture the big deer, Raja." said the royal commander.

"Alright, tomorrow we will go deer hunting on Tanjung Bentam island. Prepare supplies and guards. " said the king.

The next day, Raja Nila Utama went to Tanjung Bentam island to board a large boat.

Upon arrival on the island, Raja immediately went to the forest to hunt.

While in the forest, the king's entourage saw a very large deer running.

Raja Nila Utama and his entourage immediately chased the deer.

But unfortunately, the deer run very fast, then disappear into the forest.

The king then decided to take a short break on the hill.

From the top of the hill, Raja Nila Utama saw that there was a very beautiful island opposite the Tanjung Bentam island.

The king then decided to sail to the island.

Upon arrival on the beautiful island, Raja took a walk around the island.

Until the King's eyes are fixed on a dashing animal.

He had never seen Raja Nila Utama.

"What animal is that?" asked the king to his guards.

"That is a lion, your honor. He does look beautiful, but he is a wild animal. The king must be careful not to approach him. " replied the Royal Commander.

Raja Nila Utama was pleased with the beauty of the island.

He decided to stay on the island.

"I want to live on this beautiful island. You build a city on this island for us to live. Because there is a lion beast, I will call this city the name of the Singa Pura. " said the king.

Message from the story: every human being likes beautiful places, beautiful places make the people happy.
