The Hunters and Gorillas (Congo)

Once upon a time there was a small village, in Congo, on the edge of the country's forests.

The village is often visited by a gorilla.

The villagers' gardens were damaged because the gorilla ate everything in the garden.

The presence of the destructive gorilla greatly disturbed the villagers.

No villager dared to drive the gorilla away.

But finally there was a hunter offered to drive the gorilla away.

The villagers immediately held a release ceremony accompanied by prayers from the chieftain to the hunter before he went to the forest to drive away the gorillas.

The chieftain gives the hunter potions & spells to be blown into the gorilla's body.

After the ceremony, the hunter immediately went to the forest.

The hunter then hides behind bushes to spy on gorillas.

Soon the gorilla appeared near the hunter.

At that time there was a chimp putting fruit under the tree.

The gorilla approaches the chimp's fruits and eats them.

Chimpanzees get angry seeing a gorilla eat its fruit.

He pelted gorillas with stones.

The gorilla is angry with the chimp.

The gorilla lifted the chimp then threw it far into the bush.

The gorilla then casually continued eating chimpanzees' fruits.

Seeing the gorilla being caught off guard, the hunter did not waste the opportunity.

With potions & spells from the chieftain he brought, the hunter blew it at the gorilla's body.

The spell of the chieftain was intended so that gorillas could not come to their village.

With the success of the hunter blowing a spell on the gorilla, the gorilla has never returned to their village ever since.

Message from the story: Being brave is not enough, but you also have to be smart.
