The Story of Momotaro (Japan)

In a village in Japan, lived a pair of grandparents.

They are already old.

One day, grandma went to the river to wash clothes.

While washing, grandma saw a peach or momo fruit in Japanese, washed away by the river currents.

The grandmother then picked up the momo fruit to take home.

Upon arrival at home, grandmother called grandfather to enjoy momo fruit.

When grandmother was about to split momo fruit using a knife, suddenly the sound of a baby's cry came from inside the fruit.

Strangely, the momo fruit is split on its own.

From inside momo fruit, a very cute baby boy is crying loudly.

Grandparents & grandmothers are happy to find a healthy baby boy.

They then gave him the name Momotaro.

Lovingly cared for by grandparents, Momotaro grew up to be a strong and kind child.

One day, Momotaro asked his grandparents to go to the ghost island.

He wants to conquer a ghost on the island.

At first grandparents did not approve of it because they were very worried about the fate of their children on the ghost island, but finally they allowed it.

Before leaving, grandmother gave me some kibi dango, which is a kind of moci filled with beans.

Kibi Dango Grandma gave me is a magic cake.

Kibi Dango can add strength to anyone who eats it.

Along the way, Momotaro distributed dibi kibis to a dog, a crow and a monkey.

As a result, the three animals followed him to help him fight the ghosts.

After arriving at the front gate of the ghost island, the monkey knocked on the door.

The door opened, opened by a red devil.

At that moment the monkey attacks the red demon.

The monkey easily defeated the red demon.

Meanwhile, Momotaro along with dogs & crows immediately enter the cave where the ghosts live.

Inside the cave, ghosts are having a party.

They were unaware of Momotaro's arrival.

Not wasting the opportunity, Momotaro, assisted by dogs & crows, immediately attacked the ghosts.

The ghosts ran away in a sudden attack until finally they surrendered.

Ghosts promise never to disturb humans again.

Message from the story: Don't be afraid of ghosts, ghosts will be afraid to face brave children.
